Joe's 69' Camaro arrives at the shop. he bought the car at age 16.

This car hasn't been registered or run since 1992.

Small block engine

Spare parts inside. A few NOS GM moldings included.

Have to check the trunk for leaks.

Someone cut a giant shifter hole in floor. We'll cut that out and weld in a new section.

Bottom of subframe crossmember was beat up and had a rot hole. Drilled out the spot welds to remove.

New piece for crossmember made and ready to weld in place.

Engine all cleaned and painted Chevy orange

Subframe ready for assembly. Drum brakes were ditched and going to instsall disc brakes.

Holes drilled in the firewall. We'll weld some patches in there.

After pulling off the intake for cleaning we found rust in the lifter valley.

Further inspection revealed cracks in the block from it being frozen in storage. Time to research a crate motor.
